Thanks to Lori for inspiring me to make my own healthy smoothies, It is an excellent breakfast and I feel totally full after having a glass of it! To make it even healthier I 've replaced the regular sugar with Stevia (sweet extract form herbs), pinch of cardamom and a scoop of whey protein powder.. and all I can say is YUM! I actually made two smoothies one with berries and other with Apples, I drank the apple one before taking a picture! :)
Ingredients:
Blackberry (Fruit of your choice)- 1 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 2 tbs
Protein Powder - a scoop
Cardamom powder - Pinch
Preparation:
Blend everything together in a blender and its ready!

Looks yummy. Wish I had that smoothie right now. I also add Stevia powder in my smoothies. It is good.

Great healthy smoothie Ann I love the purple colourful.
Looks refreshing dear..Wonderful power drink for the morning
I love smoothies and this one sounds excellent with blackberry! A pinch of cardamom should add such a wonderful flavor too!
wow that is so healthy and yummy looking.
Sounds easy to make, and the taste must just so great... I can't get blueberries here, but I hope I can adapt this to kiwi+strawberry+banana, dear Ann.

Aww...I meant to say blackberry.
Ozge,
Adding kiwi, banana n berries must be a cool option :) thanks for the idea. I may add kiwi next time :P
Looks great-but you don't have to add protein powder-you can just make it with either Greek yogurt or the regular yogurt(sorry,I'm not a big fan of supplements,I always recommend natural stuff). That way you'll even get your dose of probiotics :)

In our family we all love smoothies. I usually make them with frozen fruits and no milk, just juice. Yours looks so yummy!!!
