Yellow Cake Mix - 1 cup
Quaker Oatmeal - 2 cups
Powdered Pecans - 1/2 cup
Powdered cashews - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Shortening or butter - 1 stick
Egg - 2
Preparation:
Combine the oatmeal, cake mix, powdered nuts.
Beat shortening and eggs, then mix in to the dry ingredients slowly and stir well.
Place a spoon full batter in a greased pan, with 2-inch apart from each other.
Drizzle some sugar on top of it.
Enjoy with a glass of milk to complement the cookies.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that my husband took a liking to oatmeal anything. He has never had oatmeal cookies or oatmeal porridge in his entire life until he met me! (ditto for peanut butter, although he prefers it a bit less)
ReplyDeleteMaddie sends you smooches back. She got over the "bone issue" in the only way she knew how....she stole Mister B's bone!! Fortunately he's an easygoing dachshund. If it were the other way around there would have been a war out on the terrace.
Is Powdered Pecans and Cashews just finely ground pecans and cashews? Thank You!
