The oatmeal cake mix cookies are very easy to prepare, it is delicious and comfort type cookie to go with milk. It is slightly moist inside and crunchy outside. I have added ground pecan and cashews. This yummy little treat can be made with in 25 mins and once made, will vanish in no-time!!
Ingredients:
Yellow Cake Mix - 1 cup
Quaker Oatmeal - 2 cups
Powdered Pecans - 1/2 cup
Powdered cashews - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Shortening or butter - 1 stick
Egg - 2
Preparation:
Combine the oatmeal, cake mix, powdered nuts.
Beat shortening and eggs, then mix in to the dry ingredients slowly and stir well.
Place a spoon full batter in a greased pan, with 2-inch apart from each other.
Drizzle some sugar on top of it.
Preheat the oven to 350F and bake for 12-15 mins or until golden brown.
Enjoy with a glass of milk to complement the cookies.

I'm so glad that my husband took a liking to oatmeal anything. He has never had oatmeal cookies or oatmeal porridge in his entire life until he met me! (ditto for peanut butter, although he prefers it a bit less)

Maddie sends you smooches back. She got over the "bone issue" in the only way she knew how....she stole Mister B's bone!! Fortunately he's an easygoing dachshund. If it were the other way around there would have been a war out on the terrace.
